The farm in blockhouse style has been in existence for more than 200 years. In 1880, the great-grandfather Anton Raffeiner, a shoe-maker, acquired the building and started the accommodation business at the start of 1900. The first guests started to visit during the summer.
Since agriculture was only enough to meet the personal needs, the great-grandfather Anton Raffeiner specialised in shoe-making. His business with 6 employees flourished throughout Italy. After our father Anton Raffeiner ended the shoe-making business in the 60'ies, the family started concentrating on tourism. Locals met for a glass of wine. All rooms were renovated at the beginning of the 70'ies, and adjusted to the standard of then. The new building and the winter garden were added and renovated from 1992 - 2003.
The new wooden building was ready to be moved into in December 2006. All of our 20 rooms are individually designed, and hence unique.
